What is a zine?
A zine is a fan-made collection of artwork and writing centered around a specific theme.Who can apply to contribute?
We ask that contributors are aged 18 or older at the time of their application. Other than that, everyone may apply regardless of experience or social media following!Can I apply for multiple roles?
Contributors may apply for multiple roles and can be accepted for either one or two.How many contributors will be accepted?
We're looking to accept a maximum of:
• 25 Page Artists
• 3 Comic Artists
• 5 Merch Artists
• 8 Fic Writers
• 5 PoetsWill the zine be physical or digital?
This project is digital-only and SFW!Will the zine be for-profit or for free?
This zine will be completely free!May I share works in progress (WIPs) of my zine art/fic?
We ask that you please do not share WIPs or anything related to your zine piece until after the official zine release. All contributors retain the rights to their own work and may post or sell their work once moderators have given the go-ahead.What are check-ins?
Check-ins are stages throughout the creation period where contributors are asked to show progress of their pieces. These are crucial for moderators to ensure contributors are on schedule as well as adhering to creation and formatting guidelines. Check-ins are also a way for contributors to request feedback and critique if needed.What pronouns will be used for Nanook?
For works featuring Aeon Nanook, capitalized THEY/THEM pronouns are required, as those are the canonical pronouns used in the English version of Honkai: Star Rail. For non-Aeon Nanook AUs, we will accept either they/them or he/him, depending on the creator's preference.I have other questions.

Expecations & Guidelines

EXPECTATIONS
If accepted into the project:
• Writers are expected to create one (1) prose piece between 1,000 - 3,500 words in length.
• Poets are expected to create one (1) poem with a maximum of 100 lines.
• Page Artists are expected to create one (1) fully rendered page.
• Comic Artists are expected to create two (2) or four (4) pages of comics in color or in black and white.
• Merch Artists will be assigned one (1) or two (2) pieces of digital merchandise to design.GUIDELINES
Age
• All contributors to the zine must be aged 18 or older at the time of their application.No Harassment or Bigotry
• If it is found that a contributor has produced or promoted content that encourages hateful, harmful, or otherwise exclusionary sentiments against real-life communities or other creators, they will be removed from the zine.Originality
• We request that all contributors create new, original work for the zine. Plagiarism, AI, and other forms of theft will not be tolerated.Communication
• Contributors must have Discord or be willing to create one, as the primary avenue of communication will be through a Discord server. Within the server, contributors are expected to treat fellow contributors and moderators with respect.
• All check ins and final submissions are expected to be submitted in a timely manner. However, we understand that life happens and there may be reasons why someone may not be able to finish a piece on time. If a contributor cannot complete a check in or submission on time, we request that they communicate this with a mod so they can be granted an extension.Confidentiality
• We request that contributors do not share WIPs or anything related to their zine piece until after the official zine release. All contributors retain the rights to their own work and may post or sell their work once moderators have given the go-ahead.Feedback & Critique
• Contributors have the right to request feedback on their zine work(s) in a way that they're comfortable with. However, certain issues will be subject to correction regardless, including formatting errors, racial depictions deemed problematic by the Sensitivity & Head Mods, and any failure to adhere to our guidelines.Nanook's Pronouns
